  • Recommended 3" Trailer Hitch Pin Lock and 5th Wheel Trailer King Pin Lock
  • I do have both pin locks you're looking for but we don't offer one keyed alike for both. Instead, I recommend using the InfiniteRule Hitch Lock for 3" Hitches part # 34061074-D for the trailer hitch and then the AMPLock King Pin Lock for 5th Wheel Trailers part # AMP77FR for the king pin. I have attached a video I did on the king pin lock below.

  • King Pin Locking Tripod Recommendations For Fifth Wheel - Ultimate Andersen Hitch
  • The Ultimate Andersen 5th Wheel Hitch is a great product, and it makes sense that you'd want to protect your investment. If you're desiring a tripod with a locking feature around the king pin, the product # UF19-950500 is the one I'd recommend. You're going to need to remove the Andersen coupler block from the king pin to use this product, as there is no lock or locking tripod that is made to work with the coupler block. If you're interested in a king pin lock that works without the tripod,...

  • Lock for B and W Companion Hitch that Fits Ram Rail Kit and King Pin Lock for Grand Design
  • I spoke with my contact at B and W and while they do not have a specific locking pin for the head on the Companion hitch # BWRVK3600 we can help. You could replace one of the pins with Kuat lock # HL1. It is a 5/16 inch diameter so it would fit loose in the 3/8 hole. The span of the pin is 3-1/2 inches. Then for a king pin lock you could use the etrailer 5th Wheel King Pin Lock part # e98896.

  • Lock Recommendation for Sidewinder King Pin
  • I recommend taking a look at the etrailer 5th Wheel Trailer King Pin Lock, # e98896. This low profile lock only uses the indented portion of the king pin where the jaws of the fifth hitch would latch so you should have no interference with the wedge for your Sidewinder. I have included a picture and a short video for you.

  • Recommended King Pin Lock For a 5TH Wheel Caming Trailer
  • I recommend the Trimax King Pin Lock for 5th Wheel Trailers in Red # TMX36RR or Yellow # TMX56RR. The bright colors allow you to easily see it is in place and helps to deter would be thieves. They both have a tamper resistant lock and fully incase the king pin. For extra protection the Red # TMX36RR lock uses a hardened steel that is more durable and will not cut as easy as the Yellow # TMX56RR.

  • Air Ride Pin Box and Locking Plate for Lippert 1621 Pin Box and HiJacker 5th Wheel Hitch
  • To replace your Lippert 1621 pin box I recommend the 5th Airborne pin box # 5AB-E1621-610. There aren't a lot of options for locking plates for the various air ride pin boxes so this is your best option. The locking plate you would use with it and your Hijacker is # DM6062.

  • Trimax King Pin Lock TMX56RR Does Not Fit - What Lock Is Recommended Instead?
  • Since the Trimax # TMX56RR did not fit, I recommend taking a look at the etrailer 5th Wheel King Pin Lock # e98896. I like this lock because it is designed to be universal, and will fit virtually any pin box with a standard kingpin. The collar of the lock is 1-1/2" tall, which allows for a secure fit, even on Pin boxes like the Morryde RPB72-FD where space may be limited. These locks can also be keyed alike, if you want to order multiple locks that use the same key.

  • Best 5th Wheel King Pin Lock for Lippert/Curt RotaFlex Pin Box
  • The most durable and theft-proof lock I've tested is the AMPLock King Pin Lock for 5th Wheel Trailers part # AMP77FR. The lock itself is very thick, around 10 lbs and it's made of cast iron. It also has a unique key system which prevents picking and eliminates similar key codes. Check out the review video I did below.

  • Is There a Tripod Stabilizer for Fifth Wheel Trailer that is Lockable
  • We have one tripod stabilizer that comes with a lock but we don't have a way to lock other brands of stabilizers. The Ultra-Fab Economy 5th Wheel King Pin Tripod # UF19-950500 actually comes with a padlock. This locks the king pin to the cup of the stabilizer.

  • Recommended Demco Hijacker Locking Plate for 5th Airborne Pin Boxes
  • The 5th Airborne Premium Fifth Wheel Air Ride Coupler - 21,000 lbs Capacity # 5AB-E1621-610 is a replacement pin box for the Lippert 1621, 1621HD, Fabex 665, and M&M 665. All of these pin boxes are grouped as "extended" pin boxes because they have an angled pin box reaching toward the vehicle. Conventional pin boxes have little or no angle. Extended does not mean they always extend past the 5th wheel trailer but rather they have a king pin that extends out from the mounting brackets. I...

  • Recommendation for a 5th Wheel Hitch to Fit a 2017 Ford F-350 6-3/4 Ft. Bed With Factory Rail Kit
  • Both the Curt Q20 hitch with Slider, # C16530-16020, and the Demco Hijacker Autoslide 5th Wheel, # DM8550038, will fit your 2017 Ford F-350 with the Ford Prep package. Both will allow to make your turns and at the same time ensure that you have enough clearance between your trailer and truck. Between the two, I like the Demco hitch. The Autoslide feature allows you to make your turns with every leaving the cab of the truck. This hitch will allow you not to worry about if you need to engage...

  • Using a MORyde RPB, Rubber Pin Box, with Demco Hijacker Autoslide for 2016 Ford F-350 Super Duty
  • The Demco Hijacker Autoslide, # DM8550024 is a 5th wheel hitch with slider that is rated at 18K and confirmed fit for your 2016 Ford F-350 Super Duty with 6-3/4 foot bed and the OEM prep package. To use this with a MORyde RPB you will need the Demco Hijacker Autoslide Locking Plate for MOR/ryde Pin Boxes, # DM6025. Bolting this locking plate into the MOR/ryde pin box is done to prevent the king pin from rotating inside fifth-wheel trailer hitch. Hardware included. The particular features...

  • Recommended 5th Wheel Hitch for Towing with a 2018 Ford F-150 5-1/2 Bed
  • Since you have the 5-1/2' bed on your 2018 Ford F-150 what you need to do is use a stationary 5th wheel hitch and replace the pin box on your trailer with a Sidewinder or 5th Airborne Premium with the Sidewinder. The 5th wheel hitch I recommend using is the Reese Select Plus 20K # RP30081 because it features a superior single-jaw for 360 degrees of king pin contact and the higher weight capacity so that you have a safety margin (be sure not to exceed the weight rating of your F-150)....

  • Best Pin Box to Replace Lippert 1621HD for Short Bed Truck
  • For your short bed 2021 Ford F-150, I suggest you upgrade your 5th wheel's pin box to a 5th Airborne Premium 5th Wheel Air Ride King Pin w/ Sidewinder and Turret, # RP61422. The 5th Airborne Sidewinder replaces your fifth-wheel trailer's king pin and alters the pivot point of your rig, enabling you to make up to 90-degree turns. Enclosed air spring in pin box absorbs shock and adjusts for a smooth ride. This reduces longitudinal shock (chucking) by nearly 60 percent and decreases vertical...

  • Recommendation for a Handle Locking Pin on the Reese Titan 20k Sliding Hitch
  • Good news, I was able to find 3 pins that will work for you. The Torklift Turnbuckle Pin Lock # TL11001, Roadmaster Coupler Padlock # RM-305, and the Husky Safety Lock Pin # 37201211 were the three pins I found that will fit through the hole in the handle. I tested all of these options and would recommend the # TL11001 because it was the easiest to insert and remove and is a locking pin. Alternatively, the Roadmaster Padlock was very tight and the Husky fit just fine but doesn't have...

  • Demco Hijacker or PullRite SuperGlide for Short Bed on a 2016 Ram 2500
  • The Demco Hijacker Autoslide # DM8550034 is definitely the better option over the PullRite SuperGlide 4400. Although they do share some similarities (like the autosliding function, single-jaw to secure the king pin, and cushioned heads) the Demco stands out because it has 3 different height settings, 15-1/4", 16-1/2", and 18", features a 3/4" steel locking bar to reinforce the king pin connection, and doesn't require a locking plate unless you are using a special pin box. The PullRite...
